Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.

Who We Are

P&C stands for Parents and Community Association, a school-based organisation that aims to enhance and resource the children’s education and experience at school. Our P&C consists of community members, including parents, carers and teachers — working together to contribute to the continual improvement of our school.

What We Do

We meet, we have a laugh and get direct updates from the Principal about important issues affecting our school. The P&C helps give a voice to parents and carers, providing a constructive way to make impactful changes to the school experience!

The fundraising work we do provides necessary resources and improvements for the whole school.

You can volunteer, participate, get involved as MUCH or as LITTLE as you like! There is plenty of room for all levels of involvement.

How to Join

Becoming a member is not an obligation to do anything or take on a role. Members can attend meetings and provide input and ideas to help guide the direction and efforts of the P&C body.

Meetings

Our P&C meetings are held once a month on Friday morning’s at 8:45am in The Mill. Please keep an eye on Sentral for the next meeting.

Members can attend meetings and provide input and ideas to help guide the direction and efforts of the P&C body. You are welcome to bring your children. They can read a book, draw or colour in while the meeting is on.

Executive Officers

Our executive team is usually made up of a President, two Vice Presidents, Secretary and Treasurer. All executive positions are declared vacant at the start of the year and are voted in at our AGM.
